Introduction

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is proud to announce the 2025 edition of the International Africa Forum, which will take place from April 28th to 30th, 2025, at Kigali Convention Center in Kigali, Rwanda. Following the huge success of the 2023 edition held in Kigali, we are delighted that CILT have decided to return to Kigali once again in 2025. The event will serve as a platform to explore contemporary issues and challenges in the transport, logistics, and supply chain industries.
The return of the conference to Kigali is testament to the achievements of Africa Forum 2023 and highlights Rwanda’s growing prominence as a key destination for international events. The success of the CILT  Africa Forum 2025 will be a crucial step in advancing Rwanda’s bid to host the Global Forum, which would attract an even larger audience of over 1,000 delegates from across the globe.
As a globally recognized membership-based organisation with over 33,000 members across 100 countries, CILT has been at the forefront of promoting and developing the art and science of logistics and transport for over 100 years. With its diverse and engaged global community, CILT has successfully hosted annual forums that bring together professionals, policymakers, and organisations to foster collaboration and advance the logistics sector.
The CILT  Africa Forum 2025 will prioritise corporate exhibitions, B2B sessions, and high-level business discussions. By bringing together seasoned professionals, government-industry regulatory officials, business leaders, journalists, and academics from across Africa and beyond, this event aims to address the most pressing issues in transport and logistics while promoting sustainable growth in line with the AfCFTA.

Objectives

The CILT Africa Forum 2025 aims to:

– Explore strategies for sustainable implementation of AfCFTA and its impact on the transport and logistics sector across Africa.

– Promote B2B engagement, networking, and collaboration among delegates from across the African continent and beyond.

– Showcase innovative technologies, solutions, and best practices through corporate exhibitions and business sessions.

– Contribute to the professional development of attendees through training and certification opportunities offered by CILT.
